We are about to commence with our journey. We are waiting for the car rental shuttle to pick us up any second (and I still need to pack this laptop). (*It wasn't until one hour (that's correct, 60 full minutes) later that Tanya decided to finally swing by our building to collect we and our luggage in order to deliver us to her Enterprise Rental castle where we were granted the self-destructive economy Hyundai which shockingly got us to Santa Barbara safely.
We considered brewing a pot of coffee to get us going, but we realized there are no travel mugs. Our alternative solutions consisted of the old coffee cups in the trash can from 2 days ago, or filling up an empty wine bottle with the coffee and corking it.
Guess we'll be stopping for coffee en route. (*Little did Jaclyn know, at this time, that she wouldn't be getting her precious water-flavored coffee until 3 hours later.)
